As usual, it takes a court ruling to muddy and clarify the technology waters. Larry Downes wrote a great piece outlining how he thinks a recent ruling on software licensing is actually good for end users. It's a somewhat contrarian view, but it's a sound argument.
Interesting article request, but turned out pretty good. QuickBooks is not a daily topic of conversation with our clients - even though a lot of them use it - so it was interesting to verbalize how the application has helped our business since 2004. Life would be a lot more difficult without it (despite its flaws).
